Background & Food Philosophy

I have been in the hospitality industry most of my life. I co-owned Collet’s Café & Catering from 1992 to 2000 before moving to Southampton, Ontario. I have a Red Seal Cook Certificate from Ontario College of Trades, a Sommelier Diploma from the Sommelier Guild of Canada, and I am a recent graduate of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. Healthy eating is essential to living well.

Whenever possible, we use fresh, locally grown, natural, whole foods and we keep it simple: minimal food handling and processing allows authentic flavour and optimizing nutritional value. Meals should be nutritious, delicious and fun!

With advance notice, dinner is available to our overnight guests. Our fare is vegan/vegetarian, including raw diet options. We are 100% gluten free, mainly organic, refined sugar free & dairy free (optional). Our café is licenced for beer and wine including organic options.
